Overview of the Organization:

The Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) and Meghalaya Basin Management Agency (MBMA) are actively working to improve rural livelihoods and promote sustainable agriculture across Meghalaya.

Through various initiatives, the agencies support Agro-Based Cooperative Societies, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and local community institutions.

To strengthen field-level implementation and encourage modern farming practices, MBMA is offering an Internship Program for Farm Managers to assist in agricultural operations and cooperative development.

Objectives of MBMA Internship 2026

The key goals of this internship program include:

• Providing hands-on experience in farm and cooperative management to young professionals.
• Enhancing agricultural extension services in rural areas.

Scope of Work:

Selected candidates under the MBMA Internship 2026 Meghalaya will be involved in the following activities:

A. Farm Management & Agricultural Practices

• Assist in crop planning and seasonal farm operations
• Monitor usage of inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and irrigation
• Encourage adoption of sustainable and climate-resilient farming techniques
