NIT Meghalaya Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya has released a notification for Guest Faculty positions under B.Sc. and B.Ed. programmes. Associate Professor
- Postgraduate degree in Sciences / Mathematics / Social Sciences / Commerce / Languages with 55% marks
- M.Ed. with 55% marks
- Ph.D. in Education
- 10 years of teaching experience in Teacher Education Institution
- As per UGC norms
- Desirable: Diploma/Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership
Assistant Professor (Foundations of Education)
- Postgraduate degree in relevant subject with 55% marks
- M.Ed. with 55% marks
- NET / SLET / Ph.D. in Education required by UGC
- Desirable: Ph.D. in Education
Assistant Professor (Art Education)
- Postgraduate degree in Performing or Visual Arts with 55% marks
- NET / SLET / Ph.D. in Arts required by UGC
- M.A. in Education with specialization in Art Education

Salary and Other Benefits
- The selected candidate may be paid a consolidated salary of ₹65,000 per month or as per institute rules. No other emoluments, medical reimbursement, or allowances will be applicable.
- No pension, gratuity, or retirement benefits will be provided, as the position is purely temporary.
- However, free shared accommodation (hotel/hostel basis) may be provided if required by the institute.
