DSC East Khasi Hills Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years.
• Maximum Age: 32 Years.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 Years relaxation.
• PWD: As per Meghalaya Government rules.
• Govt Employees: No age bar (with NOC Certificate to be produced when called for the Interview).
• The date of birth shall be considered valid only if recorded in the School Certificate, Birth Certificate, or an extract from official registers duly certified by the competent authority of the Board of School Education. No other documents shall be accepted as proof.

Reservation of Vacancies:

• Reservation of vacancies will be as per the Government of Meghalaya rules.
• The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased based on requirements and reservation roster.

• Qualifying Test: Khasi Language Test (Mandatory).
• Written Examination.
• Interview / Practical Test (if applicable).

Payment Modes:

• Debit cum ATM Card / Net Banking of all Major Banks.
• e-Challan (SBI Bank).

Payment Details:

• Applicants can pay the application fee using Debit Card, ATM Card, or Net Banking.
• Candidates opting for cash payment at any of the branches of SBI must select “Payment Across Bank Counter”.
• An e-Challan will be generated after filling in the required details.
• Take a printout of the e-Challan and deposit the fee at any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI).
• Additional bank charges/commission may apply depending on the mode of payment.
• The application fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted for any other purpose.

• Candidates are advised to keep the payment receipt for future reference.
• PWD candidates are exempted from the application fee, but must produce a valid disability certificate when required.
