Candidates must have either:
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline along with a 1-year Diploma in Sports Coaching from NSNIS (Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports) or any institute, university, or college recognized by the Government of India in the relevant discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with outstanding achievements in recognized International, National, or Zonal championships.

- 10+2 with Diploma in Sports Coaching from NSNIS or recognized institutes for medal winners at International/National/Zonal Championships.
